My courses are designed in a detailed and informative manner where I strongly believe that to be well-versed in a subject, we must possess strong basic on the subject knowledge. The essence of mastering Chemistry is to understand while not being blinded by the complication behind, where it comes to my strength at breaking the complicated concepts into simplest terms.

Mr. Martin can easily host a workshop for 60 students without needing a microphone. His voice carries well, and he can keep everyone engaged throughout the entire session. He is also a well-known YouTuber in the field of Chemistry, with viewers from Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore, and Sri Lanka among his audience.

Biology Specialist

My Approach

Mr. Khor is an experienced Biology teacher who believes in inspiring students first and foremost, rather than spoon-feeding students the traditional way. Adhering strictly to the latest SPM format, he is up to date with current standards of the SPM syllabus and the requirements needed to score A+ for the subject. As a former student from SMK St. Michael Ipoh, he scored 11As in his SPM and graduated from Monash University Malaysia later. He currently holds a Master in Education (M.Ed) and a Master in Business Administration (MBA).

Teaching Experience

Mr. Khor is a SPM Biology Trainer under The Star Media Group, whereby he provides workshops and tuition to SPM students in the Klang Valley. Attached to Yayasan Perak, he conducts SPM Biology Seminars in all the 10 Perak districts, educating about 3000 Biology students annually. He was also invited to join PDtuition.com, a free online tuition program launched by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim back in 2018. In the Klang Valley, Mr. Khor has conducted about a hundred over seminars to various schools and universities.

Mr. Khor stands out from other teachers because of his sense of humour. Although some of his jokes may be cheesy, they always bring a smile to his students’ faces. He has a unique way of making even the most boring topics interesting and engaging, which is why his students are always eager to attend his classes. Additionally, his signature PowerPoint presentations make his classes stand out. He can feature creative, visually stunning, and informative slides that simplify even the most complex concepts for his students to understand.

My Approach

I think is how complete the courses are. Students learn with me step by step from the basics until they finally get to do SPM and State paper questions or even KBAT question. From notes to questions to answers, everything is included in their learning material, which includes space for them to write – very easy to use & revise when needed.

Secondly, my teaching style. My strength is with simplifying complex concepts and giving accurate exam-answering technique. More importantly, I train students to think so that they understand the reason behind every working or explanation they give in exams. My teaching approach has proven to be easily absorbed for students to apply in exams, regardless of their different learning backgrounds.

Mr Brian is an experienced Maths, Add Maths and Physics tutor who is well-versed with the PT3, SPM and IGCSE syllabi. His strength is with simplifying complex concepts and delivering accurate exam-answering techniques, which many students have found extremely helpful. Mr Brian also holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and has obtained a straight 10As in SPM.

In his years of full-time teaching, he has always been able to bring the best out of his students, guiding even the weakest students to achieve realistic results in a short period of time. Many describe him as energetic, patient, approachable and precise with his explanations in class. Mr Brian understands his students’ problems and areas of weakness very well to help them constantly improve. His proficiency with the exam formats and easy-to-understand teaching techniques have proven to boost the confidence and performance of his students.

Fun Fact

He is a tall man and likes to wear a cap. He is a gentleman and through, always opening doors for others and offering a helping hand. What sets him apart from others is his keen sense of observation. He is able to pick up on even the smallest details and use them to his advantage. This skill is especially useful when it comes to teaching, as he is able to spot his students’ academic weaknesses and explain concepts to them in great detail. His patience and attention to detail make him a valuable asset in any academic setting.
